The Choir Next Door Mission
Through accessible performances, educational outreach, and other means, the Choir Next Door Foundation assists people in exploring vocal harmony and encourages them to make music for fun in their own communities.
Choir Next Door began as a group of friends who loved to sing together, and we firmly believe in sharing that sense of community everywhere we go. In our workshops, we focus on encouraging singers to contribute their individual voices to any vocal collaboration, large or small.
Through sharing our story and our approaches, we hope to encourage singers from all walks of life to get together and make music, whether it's competing internationally or just reading barbershop tags around a campfire.
“When my group met with Choir Next Door, they got our heads off of the page and encouraged us to improvise without any fear of being judged. That helped us develop a level of trust with each other, which ended up becoming a huge part of our 2024 ICCA run that reached the International Finals."
-Logan Sandeufer, BisCaydence
“Choir Next Door helped to significantly improve the way each of the members of my quartet were able to blend and sing together as an ensemble, and they taught us vocal techniques that improved our quality and tone. They were super kind and helpful throughout, and singing with them was a real pleasure.”
-Jason Feiler, Frost School of Music
